  • Establishment of Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, a new Science College in Dharampur to provide higher education to rural students
  • Launch of Shrimad Rajchandra Organ Donation Program, a public awareness campaign to encourage and promote organ donation after death, with more than 3000 signatories on the launch occasion
  • Launch of Shrimad Rajchandra Mobile Dental Clinic to address the dental issues of rural and tribal population in and around Dharampur
  • Launch of Shrimad Rajchandra Education on Wheels, an initiative to impart quality education through a specially-designed van with a library, science laboratory kits, etc. to bring quality education to the schools in remote areas
  • Launch of 'Power of One', a 30-day worldwide campaign to offer food and clothes to the under-privileged across the world, benefitting more than 1,35,000 lives
  • SRLC supports the construction of two schools destroyed in the June 2013 floods that hit the State of Uttarakhand

  • Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital expands its scope of preventive and curative healthcare services by establishing 3 new centers – Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre, Shrimad Rajchandra Child Malnutrition Treatment Centre and Shrimad Rajchandra Health Education Centre for Adolescents
  • Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre recognized as the First Model District Early Intervention Centre by the Government of Gujarat
  • Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul was entrusted by the Government of Gujarat to improve the academic performance of 7 primary schools in Dharampur taluka and was given a certificate of appreciation for its support
  • An indigenously-manufactured Braille printing machine donated to the National Association for the Blind – India to increase their capacity of producing books in Braille script
  • SRLC organized its first ever Love and Care Walk in the city of New York to raise funds for less-privileged children, drawing more than 550 volunteers


  • SRLC completed the beautification of the paediatric wards of the BYL Nair Charitable Hospital and KEM Hospital, which annually treat over 15,000 children collectively
  • 300 volunteers participate in a Charity ‘Firewalk’, raising funds for UK -based Nascot Lawn Children’s Respite Centre and Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, a Science College for tribal students
  • SRLC debuts at the TCS World 10k Marathon at Bengaluru, winning many awards such as 3rd Highest Fund Raising NGO, Youngest Care Champion Gold and Youngest Care Champion Silver

  • Launch of Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre, a state of the art unit to provide treatment and rehabilitation services for the physically challenged
  • Inauguration of Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul – a secondary and higher secondary school for science located in Karanjveri, Gujarat, to provide quality education to rural students
  • First year of participation in the Mumbai Marathon with 1500 participants, winning many awards including Highest Fund-Raising NGO


  • Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital accorded First Referral Unit (FRU) status
  • Opening of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at SRH to save the lives of premature babies with birth complications
  • Shrimad Rajchandra Pavilion inaugurated on 1st November at the Mahatma Gandhi Stadium, Vansda, to provide a common gathering place for the community
  • Launch of Shrimad Rajchandra Kumar Chhatralaya, a hostel for higher secondary students
  • The first Shrimad Rajchandra Pustakalay donated to Karanjveri Patel Primary School, Karanjveri
  • Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyavikas Yojana started to encourage academic excellence and motivate the youth to pursue higher education through interest-free loans and scholarships
